Keeping Calm...

' Paint yourself calm', title of an art book I've just borrowed. Proving timely as I have retreated to my studio to paint, escaping the upheaval of having a new floor laid & my leaking boiler repaired. I hesitate to mention the excitement of living through the current political maelstrom, even painting cannot completely distract from that.
